Established in 2003, agency directors Matthew and Martine Cousins have a combined experience of over 25 years within the international sports and entertainment arenas.

During this time, Fluid PR has established an extensive network of industry and mainstream contacts on an ever-expanding scale. We are constantly exploring ways to create unique angles of exposure for our clients through print, broadcast and web media.

The company’s forward-thinking approach to clients has seen it expand rapidly in the past two years, and the Gold Coast office now represents some of action sports’ most recognisable identities through its comprehensive management, media, marketing and creative services.

Fluid PR works closely with leading sports and entertainment management agency Wasserman Media Group, providing profiling, public relations, management and creative services for its Australian athletes and identities.

Staff

Matthew Cousins

Matthew’s knowledge of Australian motorsport spans a twenty-year period and includes both on and off track commitments to the industry. Vast experience and a profound understanding of the business of motorsport have seen Matthew move from competitor to engineer, mechanic to team manager for some of the most notable names in the business. Matthew has worked on special vehicle programs for five international manufacturers including Holden, Hyundai, Daewoo, Mitsubishi and Toyota.

While in the V8 Supercar arena Matthew has been involved in an engineering and management capacity with some of the countries leading teams including Wayne Gardner Racing, Gibson Motorsport and V8 Supercar championship-winners Stone Brothers Racing.

Matthew specialises in athlete management, with key clients including Chad Reed, Troy Bayliss and Blake Williams.

Martine Cousins

Martine’s broad experience has seen her work in Public Relations and Marketing in both agencies and companies and take on some incredible challenges including the Optus Network’s sponsorship of the Australian Rugby League during the Super League war. After nine years working with leading organisations including Network Ten, Optus and the Australian Rugby League, Martine embarked on conquering the international market, moving from Sydney to London to further her career and broaden her media and communication portfolio.

During her two years abroad she worked on several high profile contracts including Richard Branson’s Virgin London Broncos Rugby League Team, Marlboro Motorsports Public Relations Agency ProAction Media Relations and International Television network ESPN’s X Games project.

In 2001 Martine returned to Australia to take up the position of Communications Manager with the Australian Vee Eight Supercar Company, governing body of the Australian V8 Supercar Championship Series and then Konica V8 Supercar Series. She currently oversees the accounts of TeamVodafone, Top Gear Live and Honda Racing.

Toby Lynch

Toby joined Fluid PR in 2006 while studying to complete a Diploma of Graphic design to accompany a Communications degree with majors in Public Relations and Digital Video. Toby works on graphic assignments for all clients in the digital and print fields plus various communication and PR projects. He currently oversees the accounts for the Australian Superbike Championship, Australian Motorcycle Expo and Sydney Motorcycle Show. He is also creator and content manager of various websites including TeamVodafone and TwoTwo Motorsports.

Steph Ellery

Steph joins Fluid PR in 2011 after working with the team on the Crusty Demons Thirst 4 Destruction Tour during her final year of study at Griffith University. She brings a fresh outlook and enthusiasm to the TeamVodafone account as well as working on various PR and communications projects for other clients.
